Marathon

Running seems like the only thing that I am able to achieve best. For a couple of days, I have not really went to JJ to meet up with the usual group of friends that I have come to know. People like Hendry, Kenneth, Poon, Kris, etc. I'm not sure why I am not going to JJ, neither am I sure of the reason as to why I have started to be more serious about my life.

Previously I have mentioned about me being on the verge of turning evil and thankfully (or not) it has been stopped. I'm not sure if the things I am doing or reacting to now is a side effect to the halting of the process. People move on when things/people/situations change but for me, I move on at my own speed which is somehow too fast for people to comprehend.

I have been moving and running, trying to find some people who really can understand me well, yet no matter how much I have tried to search for people that I can somehow really communicate well with, I never am able to find what I am looking for.

I seek a companion that can understand me well enough and be there for me whenever I seem lost or down. I seek a very close and understanding friend who doesn't go over the line when I start to be too loyal to them. I seek things that may seem to be "perfect" yet these are very basic things that I do not think I might find in this lifetime. These are only two of which I seek, the rest you'd know if you knew me well.

What is a secret? It is something that is only known to those who are trustworthy and it is usually kept to only a small handful of people.

Why is there a need for secrets? It is something which makes humans, human.

If you knew a secret, how long will you keep it before you would tell others? Random answers to this question.

You might think I am having a few screws loose by typing those questions and answers. Maybe I am, maybe not. In this world of today, secrets can be very well-kept and also very open. To whomever it concerns, secrets are more or less part of what makes a human.

Whenever someone gets to know a secret, either he/she blurts it out, or it is being kept mum until eventually someone else gets to hear about it. Yet to certain people, they always think they have someone else they trust, and passes on the secret to the "trustworthy one" and therefore breaking the original pact that was made when the secret was "entrusted" to him/her.

How does one trust another then? What determines trust? And how much trust must we have in a person before secrets can be "shared" with advice (for certain secrets) and without disappointments (as in letting the secret be leaked).

I wish for a world where deciet is not a commonplace,
where people can be open to each other.
I wish for a world where people can trust fully,
where friendship can last long and be strong.

I wish for a time where I can trust myself,
so that I am able to be confident to do what I want.
I wish for a time where I can trust others,
so that I am able to really embrace them into my life.
