Life happenings.

Riiiiight. Long time no see. If, you are still reading and/or managed to find my blog again (which actually.... is pretty easy to find...)

For starters, I have finally found some extra time to do some ranting here, so here goes...

Work

^!&!@^&$%^%#&$^&$ would be my opening statement.

Working in my department now, is actually a very tough thing to do. Why?

1. When I first joined, I was immediately working under the normal purchaser, not the purchasing head (because he transferred to another department)

2. The normal purchaser was upgraded to be acting supervisor, but doesn't have the capabilities to lead the department (lack of knowledge, and skills for lots of things)

3. Work isn't done the right way, and many processes seem to have went out of the normal procedures (hell, this is like wtf?)

Now that it is about 9 months since I worked at my current job, I realised that I have learnt very little about the company, about what the company sells, about how departments co-operate with each other to increase productivity.

I only know how to process orders and order goods. which is.... like child's play. Keeping track of goods, keeping a good housekeeping of documents (electronic or not) and making sure processes are not compromised are not being done to the utmost.

Previously I thought the company was hard to work in (which I still believe) because of old staff - old staff may equate to experienced workers, but that also means a lot of processes have to follow the traditional way, which may not be efficient and beneficial to the company. And also, old staff will have a fear that the younger (and more capable) staff will take over their position, hence there will be a lot of backstabbing.

However, it depends on which department the staff are from. For me, I got one knife from the HR department head, which isn't... all too promising for me either.... XD

Now, the only thing I can try to do for the remaining 3 months of my contract, is to iron out the processes for doing a lot of things, like programing an ancient and obsolete software to help me search for data faster (to which I have tried to do, by myself, from scratch... but failed), and to generate reports better.

If all goes well, I might get confirmed, if not, I have to look for another job. People come, and People go.

Forums

So far, I have been going to lesser outings and so on (also due to the fact that there is a lack of it), mainly due to the fact that I am accompanying my miu more, and focusing on Jamming (since I am the un-official Leader).

One thing is, I have sort of given up hope for those who don't want to save themselves.

I know that forums are the sort of places where one can look for friends (when they have lack of real life ones), and to have fun and so on. However when some bring their own life habits into the forums, it seems to strain a lot of relationships and friendships.

When people notice things such as the fact that certain people are in danger of becoming public enemy, most would want to help out, so as to lessen the impact faster. But when the "help" becomes something that is of hinderance (for whatever stupid reason), it usually is brushed off, and this doomed person will end up getting more and more enemies, that are self-created.

I tried to reach out, to help, but all I got was silence, being ignored, and being chided at whatever friendly gestures that are being offered. I was snubbed in the most bizzare ways imaginable.

Since this friend has treated me as though I was dispensable, I should just return the favour.

Tarot

Been a while since I last talked about it. I will start the plan this year. To finish teaching what I have taught to my small group of friends. And after that, I will start to create a form of earning from Tarot, not only for myself, but also for those who are in the group.

Don't be mistakened that I am doing tarot for the sake of money. I am still doing it for free, unless the querent wants to give a token sum. Its just something to keep the group sustained.

Jamming

Things are looking up for STM. There will be more meetings to conclude our future. We have a few songs already:

Finding you - 95% completed.
Created - 30% completed.
You are good - 40% completed.

and others...

One thing for sure, there will be more changes to implement, and we still hope to cut our album by this year.

Lets hope things will turn out to be ok!
