Its been a long time since my previous post and I happen to have free time today, so here is the story that has been going on for quite some time.

Trees

No matter what type of tree, big or small, starts off as a small seedling. And the small seedling is very vulnerable to any kind of hurt - risk of being destroyed any time. The seedling will take time to grow, to nuture into a small tree with proper care.

The small tree will continue to grow under the protection and care of nature. And as it grows, insects will start to hinder its growth; the weather will be more merciless towards it. At this time the small tree will have to receive even more protection and care so as to make it through to grow into a tree.

The tree will then be a resting place for birds, for other insects and so on. Yet because of the things that it has gone through, it has become stronger and more like a pillar for even humans to rely on. The tree will be a place where people can lean on, play with and relax.

Years will go by and by then, the tree will have matured into a big tree. This time the tree will not be afraid of any weather; nor any insects that may invade; nor any human interferance. By this time the tree would have already become so strong that nothing can uproot it - the roots having firmly dug into the ground will make it last for ever.

Imagine that the seedling is a relationship. The relationship starts off by liking someone and initially is very vulnerable because it has got too many uncertainties. Any small occurances can make this feeling become nothing and the result would have been a little bit of hurt.

As the relationship grows, it starts to become a more visible thing. By then, people would have noticed the relationship and would start to comment on it. And because the relationship is still young, there are even more things that can cause the relationship to turn sour or wither away. People's comments (insects) on the relationship may sway one of the couple to back away, but if the love is real and true it can last.

Like any relationship, there are many things to know about each other from the start and as frustrating as it is, knowing someone and being with someone can cause lots of arguements to arise. In the event of too many arguements the relationship may just break off due to too much miscommunication. That is why lots of understanding and tender loving care has to be there by both parties to make the relationship's foundation stronger.

As the relationship goes on, the feelings for each other will grow deeper and there is a strong foundation and not many things can affect it. However, the maintenance of the relationship will start to take a toll on anyone who doesn't really put his/her heart into it. There can be times of happiness and times of sadness and it is during this time, the test of the relationship can really be brought to another level.

By the time the relationship lasts beyond this point, the feelings will grow even deeper and that is when love has already reached a point whereby nothing can change the feelings within the couple's hearts. Their love will last forever.

Acknowledgement

There's always a person who wants a certain kind of acknowledgement from anyone; to find someone who understands and accepts them for who they are. All of us need some form of acknowledgement, be it our talents or our hard work.

Sometimes the things that we do may not lead us to the ending like we all expected, but if there was an acknowledgement from someone, it would make the days easier to pass and we would be happier.

I for one, am not easily acknowledged. I'm a misunderstood person because I'm not very outspoken and I tend to step on other people's toes for the wrong choice of words used when in conversation. I had been looking for people's acknowledgement to accept me as who I am, yet people that I have gotten to know never really did accept me as such. They only acknowledged my abilities, my talents and other superficial stuff which doesn't really touch my heart at all.

Recently, because of helping a certain someone, I have gained back my confidence in doing things. Reason? Because that person acknowledged me, accepted the real me rather than what I was able to do. I have in turn gave my best to help and assist to my utmost.

Perhaps it fated, because of the helping of me, I helped that person to stand up from the shadows. Now that person is moving on in life rather than just getting stuck in a past that he/she doesn't know what would be the best course of action. It was hard but I'm sure that with my effort and support, he/she would recover and be a happier person at the end.
