Updates

Here's a short recap of what happened in the weekend for me.

Friday, 08/09/06

Seems like a normal day like any other day, but today's a day where the whole department stays back for tomorrow's work. Booked out in the evening to walk around and have dinner with darling at Swensen's. First time use my GO! card to sign for the meal, felt very glad about it. Had the Mega Burger for dinner and darling had the Chicken and Mushroom Pizza. We shared the Pitaschio'd Ice-cream (darling didn't like it at all... sorry darling... Muacks).

Then I went to shop for her mom's birthday present (got a bag at John Little's) and went back to camp after that.

Saturday, 09/09/06

Woke up to a very bad back and neck ache, sleeping on chairs and the floor didn't do justice to my already bad back. Proceeded to work in the stores, cleaning up things here and there. Had lunch in camp before rushing down to Toa Payoh HDB Hub to support my darling's audition at Project Superstar 2. Too bad she didn't manage to go through, but at least she's a winner to me! (I wanted to join the previous week, couldn't manage to do so because it was my mom's birthday...) Darling was interviewed by reporters from i-weekly and had her pictures taken, then as I was talking to her, I was also dragged in to take pictures and be interviewed too! XD

Then after that, we proceeded to have a meal at Macdonald's and then went back to Jurong Point. Here I bought darling's contestant number at the 4D stand in Liberty Market (too bad the numbers never came out).

Sunday, 10/09/06

Had a very lazy afternoon with darling and was discussing on how to remove the bumpy lumps from her wall and ceiling (got to paint her room soon, before it gets delayed for too long again). She doesn't have a ladder at home and so painting might be a chore...

And finally I changed my blog design, this may be here temporarily and the design for the next blog will come pretty soon.
