Its only just begun

Its only about 6 months plus into my NS life (counting down to ORD loh~!) and I'm already starting to feel the incredible and awe-inspiring "arrow-shower" of NS. Just barely 1 month into the department in Jurong camp, I am already given administrative duties; become an in-charge of a particular job; taken over shit that has been left by my predecessor.

Now in December (a month I can actually rest a little), I finally can take a break from being a BIG TARGET BOARD (a moving target at that). Maybe because of my "obedience" in camp or maybe I don't really speak out my concerns about my duties - I just keep getting arrowed to do other people's work.

I remember talking about how NS is like (Boys to Men or Men to Boys) a while back and I find that I'm caught right in the middle; the teenager phase. I tend to want people to tell me what I'm supposed to do in the department and yet at the same time, I have this urge to tell people how to do certain things that they should be doing.

Perhaps I'm too easily read by my superiors and hence I'm always the target practice board for them.

To far away land

Not so far away actually, somewhere northwest of Singapore. I'm going to go on a trip in Malaysia and its going to be a place I've never been to before! I'll be gone from 23rd all the way up till 28th of December so if anything just drop me a mail at ryuza307@yahoo.com.sg.
