New Year, Same Old

Hi guys, sorry for not updating for so long.... been kept busy by quite a number of things and among the little things are the enjoyment for CNY. XD

Looks like my new year's resolution is not going to be fulfilled - I seem to have gained a few kilos during the CNY binging. XD

Same old routine of visiting, same old situations whereby relatives don't really speak to you much / or ask too many questions until you just don't want to answer. (Fortunately for me, most of my relatives just left me alone...)

Perhaps its because I'm older already, or maybe its because CNY has lost its meaning, but this year, the celebration seems to be more of a routine than an actual joyous celebration. There's no festive mood, no meaningful reunions (no, not talking abt FFVI: Advent Children). Maybe the 21st century is quiet an emotionless-towards-traditions century.

Tides

Sometimes the tides rise high, it can bring about closeness.
Sometimes it goes low, seperating two from each other.
Tides ever changing, never staying in one place.
It makes it hard to guess what's going on,
beneath the ebbing flow.

If only the tides can stay in a state for a long time,
then would I be able to determine to set sail or stay on land.
